Rocky Mountain Nanotechnology, LLC, manufactures and sells unique, ultra-sharp solid platinum and platinum-iridium AFM probes for scanning probe measurements.

Conductivity is never compromised with our probes, as the tips are entirely metallic. As the probe wears, it maintains full conductivity. The extended tip shank length not only minimizes stray capacitance, but proves beneficial for efficiently coupling electromagnetic waves into the tip/sample region.

RMN Probes are supported by a standard AFM probe sized ceramic chip. Probes are connected to a conductive gold bonding pad using conductive epoxy. We also provide options without the gold contact pad to minimize stray capacitance, ensuring precise measurements for your research needs.
